#3 NYC Street Style

The streets of Manhattan are filled people and they all have their own style. There's so much, and so many, to draw inspiration from! When looking through some NYC Street Style Blogs, here's what I found:

On the blog nycstreetfile I found many people wearing the oriental inspired harem pant. This garment is something I remember being very trendy a few years back when I was in junior high, and I guess it might be coming back.

On The Sartorialist I found that there were quite a few people wearing flared skirts, mostly short mini skirts actually, to my surprise, as in my head right now all I can see are maxi's and pencil skirts!

#2 One Key Item for Fall 2012

New York fashion week is coming to an end, and here is something that I've noticed coming down the runway; the tailored cigarette pant. I am a big fan of it myself, and it comes in many different styles.

#1 Fashion Blogs I Read

I read a lot of different kind of blogs, but these fashion blogs are some that I read several times a week, if not every day.

Elin Kling is one of Swedens biggest fashion bloggers, and right now she's working from New York and has recently started a fashion magazine called Styleby in Sweden. I really like her clean cut, androgynous style.

Back in Sweden I worked for two wonderful designers, Emma Landström and Malena Ostwald. I still check their website and the blog several times a week to see what new styles they design, different fashion shoots they're up to, and what inspires them. Their collections are always heavily 50's inspired with beautiful dresses and cuts, and lovely stripes and marine touches.

Columbine Smille is another Swedish fashion blogger who works with Elin Kling on Styleby. She always updates with interesting pictures from editorials she likes, shoots she's working on for upcoming issues of Styleby and her favorite pieces from new seasons and collections. She has a great style and also stays very clean, but she always throws something fun in to her looks to give them edge.
